The class was very well put together. Even though we were there a little longer than expected, the extra time was not noticed at all. All of the information was what I needed to feel more confident. I’m really excited that I understand how to jump a battery. The handout with the timeline of services that should be done was also very helpful.

It was a great skill to learn how to change your tire (you never know about cell service) and how to safely jump start a car. I always just hooked up the cables in any fashion and hoped and prayed that it worked. It did. I guess I was lucky. I like to know the inner workings of the car and when parts need to be changed. Knowing how that will help me keep my car longer is great.

The time went fast and was very informative. I think that new drivers would really benefit. Just being able to ask questions without feeling dumb was a nice. Also other people asked questions that I thought were interesting.

Ladies, an event of this nature is well worth your time! I grew up in a household full of mechanics, thinking I knew everything I needed to know about caring for my vehicle. My goal for attending was to refresh my skills, not only did I achieve that goal but I learned additional new techniques that have added to my level of confidence. I can tell you I now feel certain that should I have the unfortunate event of a flat tire, I am quite sure I could address the issue without the need for help. I found the event very informative, I would highly recommend it to any of my friends.

This class was very informative and very well put together. Dave and Mike presented the material in a way I understood, answered all the questions asked and then held a hands on session on changing oil, jump starting a battery, and changing a tire. I learned so much and especially how to change a tire, which I have never done. They had a car up on a rack and we got a chance to see the entire underneath of it. I still would call AAA if I had a flat, but if there were extenuating circumstances and I had to do myself I am confident that I could now. Dave gave lots of handy tips. Class consisted of women of all ages, even a few girls from the girl scouts just learning to drive. A great program for all women. Thank you to Dave and Mike and Lisa. Highly recommend attending the next one.
